Membership
Membership is available freely to all local residents.

Come to the Library and fill out an application form, provide evidence of your address and you will be issued a card immediately.

Children under 18 years of age and living at home must have their application signed by parent or guardian.  Please notify the Library immediately of any change to your address.

Loan Entitlements
You must bring your card for items to be issued against it.
You may borrow up to:
  • 10 Books
  • 6 Magazines
  • 4 CD's
  • 4 Audio items
  • 6 Videos
  • 4 DVDs
Reference, archives and newspapers cannot be borrowed.
Please return items by the due date.

Lost Cards
If you loose your card or it is stolen please notify us immediately so that we can stop further loans being issued on it.

Visitors
Visitors who are in the City for more than six weeks and anyone who visits or works in the area on a very regular basis may join as a resident borrower.

Visitors who can produce a current library card from another NSW public library may borrow two items. Visitors who are not NSW public library card holders may pay a $20.00 refundable deposit and borrow 1 item at a time whilst they are in the City.

    Broadband For Seniors Kiosk
    Photocopying  Coin Operated.   20c per A4 page.   40c per A3 page.   Black and white only.
    Word processing.  Booking advised.
    A safe and relaxing community space for reading.
    Coffee area.

Inter-Library Loans
If the library does not have the book or information you require, it will try to obtain it from another library. Most inter-library loans take about two weeks. A charge is made for photocopying if required.
